Homemade smoked salmon and cream cheese ravioli
Really, it’s the simplest there is – chopped smoked salmon, cream cheese – and that’s all the filling.
I used a store-brought pasta dough, which is so easy to use and really saves time. You can of course make your own pasta dough.
To prepare the shape, you can use all kinds of methods, the simplest is to put mounds of filling on half of the dough, cover with the other half, fasten and cut into squares (and fasten the edges again).
I chose to fold nicely in the form of a tortellini. But the kids sill call it “ravioli”.
For the sauce, I cooked cooking cream and some spices for a few minutes, and from only four ingredients you get a perfect dish for lunch.
You can call them ravioli or tortellini, it doesn’t matter. You have a delicious pasta dough with a wonderful filling.
I’m going to grab a bite before my boys eat the whole thing before me …
